Mera Peak Climbing -

Mera Peak Climbing in the Khumbu region of Nepal is an incredible experience of ascending the highest permitted trekking peaks in Nepal. It stands tall at the altitude of 6,654 m and though it is the highest trekking peak and technical one, it is one of the first choice for most of the people with just basic or no prior experience of peak climbing at all because of its climbing and technical settings. It is situated to the south of Everest and dominates the watershed between the profoundly forested valleys of the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas. There are several routes to reach to the summit of Mera Peak but the standard route is the one which was used by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenzing, the first successful ascenders of Mera Peak.

Mera Peak Climbing offers trekkers a close-up view of four peaks above 8,000m i.e., Mt Everest (8,848m), Mt Makalu (8,643m), Mt Cho Oyu (8,201m), Mt Lhotse (8,586m), and Mt. Kanchenjunga, (8586m) from the top of Mera Peak. Whereas, you will be encircled by the mountain’s ranges and several small and larger peaks.
