Manaslu Region
Just east of the well-known tourist destination, Annapurna Region, located at the Mansiri Himal of the Nepalese Himalayas, is the mountain of the spirits viz. Mt. Manaslu. It is measured as the world’s eighth highest mountain standing tall at 8,163m. The Manaslu region is a protected area which is permitted by the Government for trekking since 1991 only. It will be an authentic experience trekking in the Manaslu region since barely a few trekkers have discovered the beauty of Manaslu. It has been declared as a conservation area in order to preserve the natural beauty as well as cultural heritage and flora and fauna; it is far beyond the ordinary world.
Trekking in Manaslu region allows us to live through the blossoming forests, especially Rhododendron, Pine and Bamboo along with the spectacular view of Mountain ranges. And obviously, to discover the lifestyle and culture of the native ethnic groups like Tamang and Gurung, who are highly influenced by the Tibetan culture.
