Everest View Trek - 9 days
Everest region is obviously underrated in terms of natural beauties, cultural enrichment, and other aspects due to the overwhelming popularity of mighty Mount Everest. Standing tall above 8,848m from sea level, Mt. Everest is the highest peak in the world. So, whenever we hear about Everest, mostly people visualize the peak only. And though it is a dream for everyone, people have to think twice about attempting to get into there. Because of the huge amount of time and hard-earned money has to be spent upon something which requires immense courage and could be highly risky as well.
Everest View Trek is a recently popularized trek that is designed specially to those willing to get an insight about the Everest region but lacks time, strength, and even budget to make it all the way to the summit. In this specially prepared luxury trek, we enjoy hiking, sightseeing, culture exploring, and a lot more.
After preparation for the trek and permits and documents arrangement; the trek starts from Kathmandu with a domestic flight towards Lukla. Afterward, our real Everest View Trek begins with a moderate hike of about 4-5 hours each day. We pass through several culturally rich villages like Phakding and Namche, walking through bushes, crossing suspension bridges, via river banks, gazing at the refreshing hills and beautifully architected monasteries before we finally reach our destination i.e. Khumjung. From Khumjung, the view of Everest is astonishingly beautiful and the hypnotic panorama of Everest from the Everest View Hotel is the reason this trek is Everest View Trek.
The trek is a relatively easy and moderate grade trek in comparison to other treks in the Everest region. As well as, it emphasizes more on discovering the lifestyle and culture of the indigenous people (mostly Sherpas). And enjoying the vistas rather than climbing and other strenuous activities.
It can be favorable for anyone of any age and any profession who needs a break from their everyday life and want to spend some of the best moments of their life in the backdrops of Everest Himalaya ranges. However, physical and mental fitness is essential for embarking on this trek.
And regarding the time-frame, the trek doesn’t have any boundary of time but the weather surely creates obligations. During winter, it is too cold and the heavy snowfall creates obstacles in walking. As well as the sceneries are also obscure and if it rains heavily, the trail gets slippery. As well as the leeches will attack painfully during the rainy season. Thus, the months of autumn and spring would be the best pick to go for Everest View Trek.
