Island Peak Climbing -

Island Peak Climbing in the Everest region of Nepal is one of the major climbing peak for anyone wishing to gain a lifetime achievement of ascending to the altitude of 6,189m/20,305ft. Island Peak Climbing does not require more than 2nights and 3 days for the summit from it’s base camp. Hence, it an economic and time-savior peak climbing package in Nepal.

After summiting the Island Peak, the mind-boggling views of the snowy peaks of Nuptse, Lhotse, Lhotse Middle Peak and the unclimbed Lhotse Shar, all over 8000 m will certainly make all your efforts seem worthwhile. Nevertheless, the gigantic Everest is not exactly visible from the Island peak, Lhotse will cover it from the front because of the location, elevation and other technical aspects.

Despite being the trekking peak with technical climbing aspects, trekkers and climbers who are physically well-maintained can ascend this peak with the instruction and assistance from the Sherpas (Climbing guide). Mera Peak Climbing -

Mera Peak Climbing in the Khumbu region of Nepal is an incredible experience of ascending the highest permitted trekking peaks in Nepal. It stands tall at the altitude of 6,654 m and though it is the highest trekking peak and technical one, it is one of the first choice for most of the people with just basic or no prior experience of peak climbing at all because of its climbing and technical settings. It is situated to the south of Everest and dominates the watershed between the profoundly forested valleys of the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas. There are several routes to reach to the summit of Mera Peak but the standard route is the one which was used by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenzing, the first successful ascenders of Mera Peak.

Mera Peak Climbing offers trekkers a close-up view of four peaks above 8,000m i.e., Mt Everest (8,848m), Mt Makalu (8,643m), Mt Cho Oyu (8,201m), Mt Lhotse (8,586m), and Mt. It is surprisingly amazing to see the stunning combination of six divine lakes at Gokyo. You might also opt to hike up to Gokyo Ri ridge which is an incredible viewpoint of Everest Himalaya ranges and other surrounding peaks. And finally, we will cross our final pass i.e. Renjo La and give an end to our trek.

Gokyo Lakes Trek - 12 days

Gokyo Valley is one of the most incredible places on Earth as it is home to six extreme and intense lakes as well as several other small lakes that are also unvaryingly entrancing. The name Gokyo Lakes is given to the aspiring blend of those vivacious deep lakes among which Gokyo Cho/Dudh Pokhari is the prominent one whereas Thonak Cho is the largest. Namely, Gokyo Cho, Gyazumpa Cho, Tanjung Cho, Ngojumba Cho, and Longabanga Cho are what we reckon as Gokyo Lakes. The virgin water from the secreted from Ngozumpa glacier, a watercourse from the Renjo La Pass from the north-west and one more rivulet originating from the very Ngozumpa glacier in the east are the gist bases of waters to feed these lakes.

Trekking to Gokyo Lakes will be a noteworthy journey of your life which will always be a delighting memory till the end. Apart from Gokyo Lakes, the vistas of Everest Himalaya ranges, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and a number of other crests are also imperative aspects of this trek.  Whereas, most of the trekkers also prefer climbing up to Gokyo Ri – a belvedere at an elevation of 5,357m for the astonishing mountain panorama. In contrast, Gokyo Valley is bounded within the Sagarmatha National Park zone, so it is obvious that the extinct flora and fauna are also major attractions of this trek.

After the proper preparation and obligatory documents arrangement, we head toward Lukla Airport from Kathmandu via an extremely exciting flight. It is the only source of transportation up to there and it often gets delayed during the unfavorable weather, so we have to forecast the weather before we actually proceed. From Lukla, we will start our real Gokyo Lakes trekking with a moderate hike of about 5-6 hours each day. We will be crossing several suspension bridges, walking on bushes, stop and acclimatize at few local villages, walking some glacial paths and exploring the bewildering sceneries before we reach our ultimate destination.

Gokyo Lakes trek can be a perfect option for anyone who prefers discovering the unexplored and off-the-beaten trails where there are fewer tourists and numerous opportunities to explore. However, you must ensure that you possess a sound physical and mental health and well-equipped to tackle every challenge to get on this trek. Plan this trek during autumn or spring months to ensure that you will enjoy the picture-perfect scenery without facing the blockades of heavy snowfall as well as rainfall and the trouble they create. Everest View Trek - 9 days

Everest region is obviously underrated in terms of natural beauties, cultural enrichment, and other aspects due to the overwhelming popularity of mighty Mount Everest. Standing tall above 8,848m from sea level, Mt. Everest is the highest peak in the world. So, whenever we hear about Everest, mostly people visualize the peak only. And though it is a dream for everyone, people have to think twice about attempting to get into there. Because of the huge amount of time and hard-earned money has to be spent upon something which requires immense courage and could be highly risky as well.

Everest View Trek is a recently popularized trek that is designed specially to those willing to get an insight about the Everest region but lacks time, strength, and even budget to make it all the way to the summit. In this specially prepared luxury trek, we enjoy hiking, sightseeing, culture exploring, and a lot more.

After preparation for the trek and permits and documents arrangement; the trek starts from Kathmandu with a domestic flight towards Lukla. Afterward, our real Everest View Trek begins with a moderate hike of about 4-5 hours each day. We pass through several culturally rich villages like Phakding and Namche, walking through bushes, crossing suspension bridges, via river banks, gazing at the refreshing hills and beautifully architected monasteries before we finally reach our destination i.e. Khumjung. From Khumjung, the view of Everest is astonishingly beautiful and the hypnotic panorama of Everest from the Everest View Hotel is the reason this trek is Everest View Trek.

The trek is a relatively easy and moderate grade trek in comparison to other treks in the Everest region. As well as, it emphasizes more on discovering the lifestyle and culture of the indigenous people (mostly Sherpas). And enjoying the vistas rather than climbing and other strenuous activities.

It can be favorable for anyone of any age and any profession who needs a break from their everyday life and want to spend some of the best moments of their life in the backdrops of Everest Himalaya ranges. However, physical and mental fitness is essential for embarking on this trek.

And regarding the time-frame, the trek doesn’t have any boundary of time but the weather surely creates obligations. During winter, it is too cold and the heavy snowfall creates obstacles in walking. As well as the sceneries are also obscure and if it rains heavily, the trail gets slippery. As well as the leeches will attack painfully during the rainy season. Thus, the months of autumn and spring would be the best pick to go for Everest View Trek.

As to preserve the natural beauty of this region from the reach of the modern world, it was declared as Sagarmatha national park.
